Linkity tries to automatically write the config.php
file while installing. If the PHP user doesn't have permission to edit it, this message will be shown. You can either give the user adequate permissions or manually configure the file. The file contains a helpful description of every variable to help you out.
This is probably because you aren't running Linkity on an Apache server. Linkity uses Apache to automatically handle links.
In case you're using a different engine, make sure all 404 errors are sent to redirect.php
and and all 404 errors inside the admin folder are sent to admin/index.php
.
Just shoot us an email at and we'll help you out.
